High in the Himalaya Mountains of Nepal, there are children who yearn to get a good education. Harsh conditions of snow, icy rain, and wind make it nearly impossible for them to walk the sometimes two hours to school, each way, from their rural homes. Heartsteps Foundation has supported the Shree Patle English Secondary School, making warm coats, uniforms, shoes and knitwear available to these children since 2021.
This year, 250 students are in need of warm outerwear.
Heartsteps Foundation needs $5000 to buy adequate winter wear for these children.
